Being Human


--HEALING THE SOUL & RETURNING TO ESSENCE--

We are born to humans who are just like us, we grow amongst humans who are just like us, we fight and love humans who are just like us. Yet we are unable to understand the value of being human.

As we are born, we are all thrown into a world of deadlines, competitions, behavior rules so on and so forth. In this fast pace of life we forget to breathe. Things that are bestowed upon us by the almighty are taken for granted. Things like breathing, watching the world around, feeling blessed to have families, to be happy because we can talk and communicate. As we try to chase dreams and compete with people around, we forget to look within and discover our inner strengths and potentials. We are then unable to handle varied situations that we face that we then call ‘PROBLEMS’. Then begins the vicious circle. We feel stressed due to the problems, we are unable to focus because of these problems, our productivity at work and relationships starts to deteriorate and last but not the least we are diagnosed with various medical symptoms like headache and cardiovascular disorders.


Phew ! That’s the reality ! Now what do we do ?
 Taking time out for oneself, just sitting in a quiet space for at least 15 minutes in a day refreshes us and helps us to think clearly. Problems are created when there is no clarity in our space. A dirty wardrobe will not help you to get the right dress everyday. A messed up work space will not let you focus on work productively each day. Similarly, a cramped up mind will not help you to think effectively and hence you will not be able to deal with everyday situations, thus creating stress. So, let's value our lives just the way they are. Let us thank God for making us humans. We shall make a promise today that we will utilise the basic qualities of being human, thus will respect oneself and others around us the way they are and live each moment like there is no tomorrow.
